Learn to fly on Long Island.

I'm Logan, a flight instructor at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, New York. I'm happy to talk you through everything you need to know: what it takes, how long it runs, what it costs, and whether it fits your life.

$250 an hour. That covers the airplane and me.

Ground instruction is $40 an hour.

If you want to know what a full certificate is likely to add up to, call me and we'll work it out for your situation.

About me

CFI, AGI, IGI

I got into flying to add some excitement to my life and to challenge myself. It's done both, and I want to share that passion with other people.

I've been flying for two years, and not only in the busy Class Bravo airspace and big runways of the tri-state area. I've also flown into small runways and uncontrolled fields in rural Michigan and Maine. Beyond flying, I'm a snowboarder, an outdoorsman, and a sommelier in New York City hospitality.

My instruction isn't focused on passing a checkride. It's focused on training the good habits of a safe pilot and skillful risk management.
